Le Tafsîr Muyassar a été réalisé par un groupe de savants contemporains reconnus dans le domaine de l’interprétation du Coran et supervisé par le Cheikh Sâlih Ibn ‘Abd al-‘Azîz Âl al-Shaykh. Il a ensuite été publié en arabe par le complexe du Roi Fahd pour l’impression du Noble Coran de Médine à des millions d’exemplaires.

Il a été conçu pour mettre en lumière le sens des mots et des phrases du Coran d’une manière concise et facile à comprendre. L’interprétation du sens suit la méthodologie des pieux prédécesseurs en se basant sur les textes les plus authentiques et en adoptant l’opinion faisant le plus consensus chez les savants.
